Life by Chocolate

Chocolate, white, milk, dark, in all its forms forms life. Chocolate truffles, caramels, and other confections are at the core of enjoyment. This is life by chocolate because death by chocolate is the wrong attitude.

That was pretty funny.

I was taking pictures of the new back porch because I'd just completed a piece about the work that went into it. And our students at dinner were wondering what the flashes were about outside. They thought that another thunderstorm was about to begin and that the camera flashes were lightening.
They were surprised to see me outside with the camera. They'd just finished dessert, my world famous carrot cake. Yum.

Here are some more pictures of the 4th!

I'm just going to throw these at you.

I already showed you the serving and eating pictures. Now it's time for the set up pictures.
And a fun time was had by all.

The 4th of July was a fun time here.

During the Kathyanne White Workshop, we had an Independency Day Celebration out by the pool. (We also celebrated Canada Day since about half the class was Canadian.) I took one of my best meals, Jamaican Chicken, fresh corn on the cob, squash and broccoli and made it into a barbecue. Besides the chicken, we had brats and other sausage and wonderful hot dogs on potato buns. Oh, happy days.

For dessert, we had our wonderful blueberry pie with a great ice cream, also made here. This was orchestrated by me, the Grill Master and BBQ Guru, poolside.

And a delicious time was had by all.

And Karen Rosasco showed up to visit with one of her friends who was taking this wonderful workshop. Boy did you miss the real deal. You missed the goods. Next time someone says 4th of July, you think of the Hudson River Valley Art Workshops.
