An Hommage to Richard Leach: A New Caramel
Well, as you all know, Kim, my mom and je (well, it can't be moi in this case) went to Park Avenue Autumn. I had the bananas three ways with bacon and maple. I've created a new caramel that has banana and bacon infused in it. (Don't ask how, you really don't need to know this.) Dipped in Felchlin dark chocolate Classificado 65% and then sprinkled with organic maple flakes. As Richard Leach knows, this is a fantastic combination. (Someone suggested apple rather than banana. Hmm. Let me consider.)
I am also considering banana and bacon and peanut butter. That's my favorite sandwich. I'll probably add molasses, just like in my peanut butter and molasses cup.
You gotta try this one. It's outrageous. Also, I just made some new Banana Safron Creme Caramel in dark chocolate, both decorated and plain.
OK people. Time to order these two new creations. Don't forget about the nut pate cups.
