Chocolate, white, milk, dark, in all its forms forms life. Chocolate truffles, caramels, and other confections are at the core of enjoyment. This is life by chocolate because death by chocolate is the wrong attitude.

The Man with the Golden Cherry Cordial

Or actually in this case, Black and Red Cherry Cordial. We recently shipped a set of custom made cordials for Harry Winston to the Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong. We often ship overseas. The tricky part, of course, is the shipping. I hand picked these cordials, so they were perfect going out and we packed them specially so they should have arrived in one piece.

Anyway, I didn't think anything more about this order after tracking it to its destination and seeing that it arrived safely until Kim and I started our Holiday Bond marathon.

This time, we skipped Connery and Lasenby, which we have for the last many years focused on, after all, Sean Connery IS James Bond, and started with Roger Moore. When we got to the Man with the Golden Gun, the majority of the action takes place at the Peninsula Hotel in Kowloon. The Peninsula Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. We were startled and surprised to see it as the center piece of this movie.

My brother Randy used to live in Hong Kong. So, my family has a connection to the place. Sigh. Well, I hoped they enjoyed the cordials.

Another Favorite is BACK: Orange Cin

And no, it isn't a Cin to eat one of these perfect chocolates. Orange Cin is a beautiful combination of white chocolate, orange and cinnamon with 25 year old balsamic vinegar. This is gorgeous. It is decorated with a slice of orange comfit.

Looks yummy? It's is!

And don't forget about our handmade bars. They're worth remembering. Here are some hands making those bars.
