Life by Chocolate

Chocolate, white, milk, dark, in all its forms forms life. Chocolate truffles, caramels, and other confections are at the core of enjoyment. This is life by chocolate because death by chocolate is the wrong attitude.

The Cliff Haven Inn, a jewel

Whereas the Yellow Farm House had a Jacuzzi tub, really a regular tub unless specified, in every room, such about, the Cliff Haven Farm B&B only had it in their Chocolate Room and their Blue Room. But they only have three rooms. They are VERY large rooms. The Chocolate Room, which I got, naturally, is huge. Kim was so jealous because it was not only a separate nook, it was large enough to be a separate room.

Jacques and Mim, the last Jacque pronounced /mem/ with a schwa, like in the end of "the", I don't have an upside down 'e'. Anyway, I didn't meet Mim. She was away but I did have a great time talking to Jacques. He's an ex-dairy farmer and now spends his time making the most wonderful and lightest fancy maple syrup that I've had since I got a gallon in Ohio. Or rather, my ex's mother got it for me.

Nonetheless, I loved the room and had a great breakfast there. Mim is a good cook and so is Jacques. Mim is also a good baker.

I can't wait to bring Kim back in the winter. Maybe we'll ski. Of course, we'll get the Chocolate Room. It was $175 a night. I gave them chocolate and Jacques gifted me with some of his fabulous maple syrup. Nice people. Great inn.
